Why does Cheese seem To go With pretty Much everything?

If you don't like any type of cheese, frankly, I don't think we'd really get along. I mean, I have to say that I don't like Cheese & Onion crisps, but there's something for everyone. Mozzarella, of course, is the tastiest (XD), especially on pizza obviously, plus there's lots of other types I like e.g. Wensleydale with Cranberry, Cheddar.... But, as the title suggests, this post is about why cheese generally goes with pretty much everything - and not my food preferences (:-O).

There are the obvious combinations, like on pizza, or with spaghetti. Truth is, all the different types of cheese have extraordinary flavours that simply complement the main meals extremely well. If I could, I'd absolutely attempt to meet the inventor of cheese - even if it were by accident. There's basically nothing you can't add a topping of cheese with. Cheese can be part of breakfast, brunch, lunch, linner, dinner, whatever. It can be part of starters, main and dessert (e.g. cheesecake).
Of course, cheese can go with fruit. For example, wensleydale, that can be shop-bought with pieces of cranberry within it. From a first-hand experience, all I can say is that it was difficult for me to stop having slices of it. Though cheese & fruit may not sound particularly nice, feel obliged to try some, or at least I hope you will after reading this post. But one thing: pineapple on pizza would definitely be a nay, so the cheese on pizza in that case, with the pineapple, I personally dislike. Comment below: pineapples on pizza, yay or nay?
So anyway, this was just a short blog post rant about cheese, because if you couldn't tell already, I love cheese, and will have it with pretty much anything from crackers to sandwiches to pizza, etc... Make sure to comment below with any thoughts, as cheesy as you think they are (can't say that it was unintentional)!
